• Our staff will call you to set-up your design appointment, after you have signed the Sales Contract.
• Your appointment date and time will be confirmed one day in advance. Our Designers have set aside this time especially for you, to help make your new house a home.
• If you need to re-schedule your appointment, please do so at least two (2) days before your scheduled appointment so we can make proper arrangements and schedule another date and time that best suits you.

• Check with your Sales Agent regarding which standard and which optional features are in your home. This will help you when deciding what finishes you will select during your DESIGN CENTER appointment.

• Consider the finishes you would like for your Cabinets, Countertops and Flooring. Take into consideration your appliance color, future paint shades, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, etc.
• Bring cushions, swatches or photos of your key furniture pieces to the showroom to coordinate colors. These elements set the style and feeling of your new home.

• Our DESIGN CENTER is open for Browsing – Monday through Friday 8 AM – 5PM.
• Our Designers, if not scheduled with a buyer, are available to answer your questions regarding the differences in product. Pricing will need to be done at the time of your appointment.
• Browsing will give you the opportunity to preview the different finishes, colors and textures that will make your home unique.
• Your scheduled appointment will be smoother if you take time to browse the ASTORIA DESIGN CENTER. Browsing will give you a better feel regarding the products you will be selecting with your Designer.
• You do not need to make an appointment for browsing.

• At the time of your appointment it is helpful if you know your budget. This will assist your Designer in showcasing the best products to give you ‘More For Your Money’.
• On average, our homebuyers spend between 5% and 7% of the base price of the home when selecting their ASTORIA DESIGN CENTER options.
• With today's low interest rates, this translates into just a few dollars to have the home of your dreams!
• By upgrading through ASTORIA DESIGN CENTER, you won't have the expense or headache of remodeling later. Your home is exactly the way you want it the day you move in.

• Please remember that appointments take 1.5 to 3 hours. You may want to consider contacting your babysitter to care for the little ones, so you will be able to focus on selecting your options.
• If you need to bring young children with you to your appointment, the ASTORIA DESIGN CENTER offers a Play Room. DVD’s, coloring books, puzzles and toys will help keep your children entertained while you are meeting with your Designer.

Upon completion of your appointment, you will be asked for a deposit on certain options. All deposits need to be paid in the following manner:

• Personal check from the contracted homebuyer’s checking account
• Cashier’s check from the contracted homebuyer
• Money Order from the contracted homebuyer

We are unable to accept cash, second-party checks, debit cards, or credit cards.

The design options and upgrades you choose may be included in your mortgage. At today's low interest rates you can create the home of your dreams for only a small increase in your monthly mortgage payment. See your lender for details.
